Ontario Liberal Seniors’ Commission

Our Mission

To engage, listen and advocate for Older Ontarians

WE ARE THEM

Our connection to Older Ontarians isn’t just political – it’s personal and generational.

We have lived the same history, faced many of the same challenges, and share the aspirations of Seniors across Ontario. That common experience helps us to understand the issues that matter most and creates a bond that guides everything we do.

WE ARE THEM.

PRESIDENT’S WELCOME

As Ontario Liberal Seniors, we are in the advocacy business. We are dedicated to improving the lives of Older Ontarians by listening, building relationships, identifying policy and program gaps, and advocating for meaningful solutions. I invite you to connect with us, share your ideas and help shape a better future for Seniors across Ontario.

– Sheila Bryan, President, Ontario Liberal Seniors’ Commission

OUR COMMUNITY

The Ontario Liberal Seniors’ Commission is a growing community of Ontario Liberals aged 60 and over who are committed to improving the lives of Older Ontarians.

Founded by Seniors, for Seniors, our members come from communities across Ontario and bring a lifetime of experience, knowledge, and community involvement to our work.

Together, we are building a stronger voice for Older Ontarians within the Ontario Liberal Party and helping ensure that the concerns and priorities of Seniors are heard.

OUR COMMITMENT

The Ontario Liberal Seniors’ Commission works throughout the year to engage with Older Ontarians, listen to their concerns, and bring their voices into Ontario Liberal Party policy and platform discussions.

Among the issues we hear about most often are:

  • Affordability
  • Financial Security
  • Healthcare
  • Housing
  • Aging in Place
  • Access to Care/Home Care
  • Transportation and Mobility
  • Social isolation and Community Connection

RELATIONSHIPS MATTER

Relationships build parties

Campaigns come and go

Relationships remain

That is why our work continues between elections.  Meaningful advocacy begins by listening, earning trust and building lasting relationships within our communities.

GET INVOLVED

If you are age 60 or older and want to make a difference in the lives of Older Ontarians, we invite you to join us.

Your experience matters.

Your ideas matter.

Your voice matters.

Together, we can help build a stronger future for Seniors across Ontario.
