Whose Plan is it Anyway?

Whose Plan is it Anyway?

TORONTO – Steven Del Duca, Leader of the Ontario Liberal Party, made the following statement:

“After just launching his ‘return-to-school plan’, Doug Ford continues to cause great confusion for Ontario families. He keeps saying his plan follows the advice of medical experts – but he is not.

“SickKids issued a detailed report that clearly recommended smaller class sizes. Doug Ford often refers to this report but refuses to follow their advice – he has not put one dollar towards finding additional space for students or teachers.  When asked about this by the media, his troubling response included the advice that Ontarians should: “give it a shot” and “pray to god” our kids are safe.

“Doug Ford has also stepped back from owning his recommendations in his plan by saying, ‘…it’s not our plan’.

“Our kids, parents and educators deserve far more than being an afterthought. Doug Ford can still fix this and I urge him to do so urgently.”
